Average Daily Long-Haul Truck Traffic on the National Highway System: 2015
The Freight Analysis Framework (FAF) is based in large part on the results from the Commodity Flow Survey (CFS) last administered in 2012. Long-haul freight trucks typically serve locations at least 50 miles apart, excluding trucks that are used in movements by multiple modes and mail.
